What you DON’T get with A La Carte Service
Because our A La Carte Service clients do not receive the full benefits of our Full Service clients, the acceptance rate for our Full Service clients tends to be higher. But many writers have published using our A La Carte Services. What you will not receive is: manuscript formatting and proofreading (important factors in putting your best foot forward), submission tracking, a personal submission strategist, cover or query letters (strategic composition, proofreading, individually addressing, and printing), limitless online access to your submissions, and other submission fundamentals. How Does The A La Carte Process Work?
In order to create a CUSTOM list for you, we will need you to provide topics covered in your work. We make this very EASY for you by giving you access to our online Work Cover checklist. Tell us a little about your work, and rest assured that we always protect and respect all of our writers’ confidential documents.
Our database includes publishing markets (agents, editors, and publishers) that range from the very well-known to the up-and-coming, to markets you may not have heard of yet. Agents and editors in our database are actively looking for submissions. We target books to literary agents. We target short creative prose and poetry to literary magazines (print journals and some reputable online magazines). Clients MUST be able to submit their work from their homes via mail and online.
We will prepare your specially targeted list of markets ASAP so you can get you submissions in the mail in just a few days!
NOTE: Our Full Service clients also complete a Work Cover checklist so that we can get to know the content and style of their work. However, Full Service clients receive an in-depth review of topics, while A La Carte clients receive a cursory review.
